Join hundreds of rat racers at our Riverside event village in the heart of Stockton-On-Tees for a wet ‘n’ wild 10km running event like no other. Splash, jump, kayak and climb your way across a truly unique running course along the banks of the River Tees, linking together many special water and shore based activities at truly iconic venues en route. Find yourself scurrying over, under & into the River Tees as you experience Stockton-On-Tees like never before. After a fantastic 2011, the Stockton-On-Tees River Rat Race moves into its 3rd year promising to be bigger and better than ever before as we stuff in more action and adventure to an already packed 10km course. The River Rat Race has been designed by the guys behind the legendary Rat Race Urban Adventure events, partnering with Stockton Borough Council. It is a 10+km walking or running journey along the banks of the Tees, interspersed with adventure activities based on, near (or in!) the Tees.

It takes place on Sunday 26th August 2012 and starts at 11am. It’s open to everyone. You enter as a solo participant, or gather your mates together and get the team spirit going by entering a team while taking advantage of an even more discounted entry. Teams must be groups of 5 or 10.
