Ni Hao Ratfans!
It’s the 7th February – and the Start of the (Chinese) Year of the Rat! Yes that’s right, 2008 is the Year of the Rat and to celebrate, we’re offering a special deal to all those who are entering our NEW events in Brighton and Newcastle and we are EXTENDING our Early Bird deal in Birmingham too!
1.) Year of the Rat Early Bird – Brighton and Newcastle
2.) Early Bird Extended – Birmingham
3.) Canoe see me up there?
4.) Rat Race on You Tube
1.) "Year of the Rat" Early Bird – Brighton and Newcastle
From China Town to Kemp’s Town, Brighton is rocking to the sound of the Rat Race! Launched last week at our special Early Bird rate, we thought we would spread the Year of the Rat lurve and give you all of February to sign up at the awesome price of £59 per person for our new Nine 2 Five adventure on the south coast. That’s saving £20 each! And it’s “Tyne” to say Xian Nian Kuai Le in Newcastle too, where this deal is also flavour of the month. The Early Bird will run for the whole of February and into March too and will wrap up at the Outdoors Show on 16th March. Those visiting the show can come and sign up on the Early Bird too, as we’ll be there with the Birmingham Rat Racers! Speaking of which…
2.) Early Bird Extended – Birmingham
We have extended the Early Bird rate in Birmingham and you can continue to enter the event for £69 per person for all of February! The Birmingham event is first up for the 2008 Series and will take place this 15th March as part of the Ordnance Survey Outdoor Show. All racers are eligible for special show rates on entry. Full Outdoors Show programme can be found at www.theoutdoorsshow.co.uk and full Birmingham Rat Race information is at http://www.ratraceadventure.com/page86.asp.
3.) Canoe see me up there?
This character was a little over zealous signing up for the Birmingham Rat Race! He seems to have taken a wrong turning at Spaghetti Junction and has ended up on top of Fort Dunlop in his kayak! This was the launch event for the Birmingham Rat Race held in Brum last week. We hope he will be a little more careful where he launches during the event!
4.) Rat Race on You Tube
We’ve gone Web 2.0! Check out the Rat Race Channel on You Tube! We’ve tried to collate some of our best footage from over the years onto our You Tube channel. Check out the action from London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Manchester as well as Rat Race village entertainments and some other quirky content! We’ll keep adding to this as we go along so with every event, there will be more action. Hello Mum, I’m on the telly!
Happy New Year - again!
