Event Village

The event centre is located at Baltic Square, on the south side of the River Tyne and immediately adjacent to the Baltic Contemporary centre for the Arts and the awesomely visual Gateshead Millennium Bridge. We will be setting up camp here on the Friday night and you are welcome to come and register then, if you are in the city centre. More details will be made available on Registration nearer the time.

Come the day, we will have the usual mixture of Rat Race treats in store – Ellis Brigham, Buff and the Rat Race Merchandise shop will be there; For Goodness Shakes will be on hand with their delicious nutritional shakes and we will have an entertainment programme running from the stage for your supporters. Enjoy the setting – you will be rubbing shoulders with the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts and the SAGE, together with the Millennium Bridge. Along the river, the Tyne Bridge towers over us to short way to the West. There is plenty of parking around; we’ll tell you more about this and other top tips of getting most out of your day in Newcastle as the event approaches.
