Who's at the helm

Your planning host in Brighton will be Phil Hodgkiss: mountain bike enduro and single speed racer. Phil has a canny creative knack for finding the bizarre in most things and will be working with the Rat Race crew to take you from the sublime to the ridiculous on water and in the city; exploring its Laines and regal ancestry. Phil discovered the Isle of Raasay during a Hebridean retreat in 1996 where he unwittingly delivered one of the very early adventure races. This event became a great grandfather in 2007 with the delivery of Raasay Rumble, co-directed with Gary Tompsett. Phil is looking forward to working with Gary and the crew again on Brighton Rat race. He’s expecting the most used phrase will be ‘can we really ask them to do that?’.
