THE LAID BACK RAT RACE!

Welcome to the uber-chilled South West of England and the fifth year of the Rat Race urban adventure challenge on the streets of ‘ole Brizzle. This city has a nautical rhythm running through its core and is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside. In many respects, Bristol’s setting is idyllic and makes for a superb adventure race. That’s why we chose it as the second Rat Race location back in 2005. Our Bristol adventure challenge is sometimes thought of as one of our “greenest,” with countryside that almost reaches into the city centre via Ashton Court country park and of course the world-famous Avon Gorge. For those who live here, you’ll know the hills and for those that don’t, you’ll remember them when you’ve done the Rat Race here! Roll on Bristol 2009…
